The Gilbert Arenas Curse...

Josh Howard, Washington Wizards, will miss the remainder of the season due to a torn ACL; but the Wizards are planning on resigning him in the off-season...looks like the Wiz are going to bank on two bum knees...

Elton Brand doesn't expect Iverson return to the team since taking a second leave of absence from his ailing daughter...I hope she gets well soon, this is bigger than basketball...

Larry Hughes has been waived from the Sacramento Kings, but he isn't in a hurry to get signed with another team...

Andrew Bynum was fines $25k for criticizing the refs...can I get fined for criticizing him???

The NBA has banned Caron Butler from chewing on straws during the game...why would you do that any way???

Superagent, David Falk, says that underslassmen not expected to be drafter in the top 10 should return back to college...I agree, more playing time to get ready...

Scottie Pippen wouldn't mind being the coach for the Chicago Bulls; says that he would push harder in practice, and much calmer during the games...a la Phil Jackson...

Samuel Dalembert of the Sixers, a native of Haiti, has won the NBA cares award...good guy!!!

Carlos Arroyo has been arrested by Miami police for failure to obey a lawful order, and resisting arrest...here we go again...

Big Z will be a Cav again starting March 22nd...duh, I knew that was coming, that's all he knows...

Hasheem Thabeet is headed to the D-League...well it's about time, even Calhoun couldn't teach him a few things...

The Pistons strength and conditioning coach, blames the Nike shoe, Hyperize, for all of the key injuries...I agree, I have played in Lebron's for the last two seasons and they have been wonderful...

Isiah Thomas was begging the Clippers to make him head coach...

Marquise Daniels of the Boston Celtics had his face engraved and made into piece of jewelry of 1,300 grams of 14k gold...talk about vanity, or just being different...

Thanks for tuning in..peace!!!

Big Z and the Cavs, a conspiracy in the making???

The NBA has said that it won't let Big Z resign with the Cavs after being traded to the Wizards...he hasn't even left Cleveland...

Expect Big Z to be bought out by Monday or Tuesday and report back to the Cavs within 30 days...

Kobe has yet to resign with the Lakers, in which he can opt out of a $24 million contract, but he won't commit until Phil Jackson commits...in the words of MJ, if there is no Phil then I'm not coming back...to be continued...

DWade knows the Heat need to add more pieces to get back to the Finals since 2006, but he won't comment on this summer yet...

Chris Bosh is Chicago's main target this summer...reason why they got rid of Tyrus Thomas...

T-Mac is willing to take a pay cut if the Knick sign two big names to max salaries...wow, he really thinks New York can make a title run???

The Knicks were livid when they learned that Jamison was signed by the Cavs; they are wooing Lebron but if he wins a trophy, then he is definitely not going to the Big Apple...who knows where he is going now, but they are not going to the Finals...

Lebron could go to the Bulls, they don't have a superstar, just a really good PG in Derrick Rose...naw I doubt it, it would be either Miami or to stay put in Cleveland...

The Warriors rejected a deal for OJ Mayo, Hasheem Thabeet, and Hamid Haddadi for Monta Ellis...I would have too, two seven foot duds, and Mayo isn't worth the hassle of getting them up to speed...

Don Nelson took Stephen Curry, Anthony Morrow, and Anthony Tolliver to an Oakland bar called "Smitty's" and beat them at shuffleboard, with a friendly wager of course...

Oklahoma City Thunder forward, Serge Ibaka, wants in next year's slam dunk contest, says he can dunk from behind the free throw line...take off!!!

Carmelo Anthony is making a great case for his first MVP award...

Kevin Durant's newest nickname is Durantula...okay, I've heard worse, like the Round Mound of Rebound aka Sir Charles aka Charles Barkley...

News in Charlotte is that Michael Jordan is more worried about playing golf and gambling than he is about running a basketball team...I'm not touching that one, it could get ugly...

Thanks for tuning in...Peace!

The Day After...

Deron Williams is unhappy that his lil bro Ronnie Brewer has been traded to the Memphis Grizzlies, Brewer was actually pulled off the plane as it was beginning its pre-flight checks...man talk about an awkward situation...

The Wizards are still saying that Gilbert Arenas is part of the team...well we will see how long that lasts after his sentencing on March 26th, once again, what was he thinking???

Big Z is expected to be released by the Wizards to return to the Cavs...didn't see that coming, if I was an Eastern Conference GM, I would keep him and make Shaq play a ton of minutes to run him down in the playoffs...

T-Mac will stay a Knick if Lebron, Bosh, Dwade, or Amare come to New York...you don't say huh???

The Suns front office took Amare Stoudamire out to dinner once the trading deadline was over...can you say, "patch work"???

The Warriors tried to deal Monta Ellis for OJ Mayo earlier in the season...this would've been a good pick up for both teams...

The Mavs are airing the dirty laundry on Josh Howard and saying that he was hungover and sat out a game; using the excuse that he had a stomach virus...well Josh is sticking to his story, smart move...

Before the trade deadline, Houston offered Shane Battier, Luis Scola, Brian Cook, and multiple draft picks for Amare Stoudemire...I'm glad Steve Kerr saw that he was not getting anything in return...

The Heat were not trying to hear letting go of Michael Beasley for Amare, the Heat will just wait to sign him if he opts out of his contract...

Larry Hughes won't be suiting up in a Kings uniform, he is expected to be bought out...

The Atlanta Hawks are going to try to chase Big Z if he gets bought out...

Newly acquired guard, Nate Robinson, won't be in uniform until Sunday when the C's play Denver due to the flu...

Ray Allen and Rajon Rondo, are a big upset that Eddie House got traded but are welcoming Nate the Great into the system...

There is no rumor that Rasheed Wallace hates Gasol, every time they play 'Sheed tries to bully him...glad to Pau doesn't back down from Philly's finest...

Look for Ron Artest to do a PSA announcing for Animal Birth Control...reminds me of Bob Barker after every The Price is Right airing...

Thanks for tuning in....Peace!

Amare and Shaq Part Deux

The Cavs are close to making a trade for Amare Stoudemire and Jason Richardson for Big Z and J.J. Hickson...did Danny Ferry see that the last two years of Shaq and Amare in Phx were a disaster? Amare clearly wants to be the main man on a team and he would not share the spotlight with Shaq and King James...

Lebron James is lobbying heavily for Antwan Jamison to come aboard...much better piece to the puzzle but I believe the Cavs are complete, they are on a 13 game win streak...but who am I???

The Celtics have also reached out to the Suns for Amare...who do they have to offer???

Amare and Shaq can play together, but they both would clog the middle making Lebron a jump shooter...this would not fit for Mike Brown he already has too many pieces to play with...

If they sign Amare, then there will only be enough cap space to sign Lebron to a max deal...that is going to tie up a lot of money and then the Cavs won't be able to partake in this summer's free agent class...

The Washington Wizards are thinking of moving Andray Blatche for DJ Augustin of the Bobcats...Blatche has game but Larry Brown doesn't tolerate laziness...

The Lakers are trying to move Luke Walton and Sasha Vujacic...good move on Sasha, but bad move on Walton, he is the glue to the team...

Danny Ainge, Boston Celtics GM, has heard enough about the value of Ray Allen and will keep him...I guess he found out that he was too valuable...

Joe Johnson rumors: He wants to be the man, so this cancels out Chicago, but don't count out New York or Atlanta...Josh Smith is getting more hype though as he continues to rock the rim...

The Knicks wants Tyrus Thomas and are willing to part with Al Harrington...this trade will work!!!

The Knicks could have moved Nate Robinson to the Grizzlies two weeks ago but Nate has first right of refusal...I do believe he is having too much fun in the Big Apple...

Allen Iverson is still with his baby girl who is suffering from a worsening heart infection...please keep her in your prayers...

The NBA is opening up an office in Africa...

Lebron James has signed a deal with American Signature, Inc and will be designing furniture with his longtime girlfriend, Savannah Brinson...I'll buy a sofa fit for a King!!!

Thanks for tuning in, peace!!!

Mark Cuban is back at it!

The Dallas Mavericks and the Wizards have just completed a trade for Brendan Haywood, Caron Butler and Deshawn Stevenson, for Josh Howard, Drew Gooden, Quinton Ross, and James Singleton...maybe Josh Howard will resurrect his career and give the Wizards a chance for the final playoff spot...

The Cavs are trying to get Amare from Phx...wasn't that a bust with Shaq last year???

Kobe Bryant gives kudos to Dallas for making the trade...Hmmm, I wonder is this a wolf in sheep's clothing???

Coach K, has turned down any rumors of him leaving Duke for the Nets...that guy will never leave, hope they don't do him like Bobby Bowden...

Charlotte Bobcats coach Larry Brown would be open to a trade for Rasheed Wallace...huh?????

The Bulls are still trying to pry T-Mac from the Rockets...

Tyrus Thomas, (no relation), seems to be the main name on the Bulls trading block...

NBA GMs, have Anthony Morrow high on their radar...

Former Terrapin, Juan Dixon, has been kicked out of the Spanish leagues for doping...haven't we learned from Len Bias! Just say no...

Shaq is beefing with Dwight Howard over the use of the "Superman" nickname....c'mon Shaq, let it go, Dwight is the man now...

Rajon Rondo has cleared up the rumor, and says he would love to play for USA Basketball...

George Karl has signed an one year deal to coach the Nuggets at a reports $4.5 million next year...

Patrick Ewing is ready to be a NBA coach and is steadily building his NBA resume...

Magic Johnson wants to buy Ebony and Jet magazines...he is really putting a new spin on the entrepreneur category...

George Hill is the second NBA player this year that has nude photos on the web...fellas, no bueno!!! yuck!!!

Clipper owner Donald Sterling is quoted by NBA legend Elgin Baylor, "that he would like to hire a southern white coach to lead his team of poor black players"...WOW!!! So far, it has been just that...Alvin Gentry, Paul Silas, Dennis Johnson, and John Chaney have been 5 Black coaches out of 23, good luck Fred Vinson!!!

Thanks for tuning in, peace!
